It’s Done!

It’s done! The Pistol and Short-Range project has been completed. The range will reopen for all activities starting Thursday, 9/17/26.

Thank you to all our members for your patience and understanding during the replacement of the Pistol and Short-Range covers. The old covers were estimated to be more than 50 years old and were beyond repair.

A few finishing touches will be completed in the spring, including new wooden shooting benches. If you have a design you prefer, please let us know! We will also be adding more seating benches and gun racks.

The success of fundraisers like the Sportsmans Raffle makes projects like these possible. Once again, thank you to all the members who support our Club fundraisers.

The Directors would also like to thank Jerry Devlin for the countless hours he spent planning and overseeing this project. His hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.

Memorial Shoot

The 19th Annual Marty Cirelli, Sr. Memorial Bacon Trap Shoot will be held on September 13, 2026, at the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, 18 Middle Lane, Harveys Lake, PA 18618. This is a rain-or-shine event, with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the shoot beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the shoot will benefit the Kingston Medical Oncology Prescription Fund. This fund assists cancer patients in obtaining costly prescription medications.

This event was established in 2007 by Carmen Fusco, a club member, to honor the memory of one of his best friends, Marty Cirelli, Sr. Marty was a longtime member, director, and treasurer of the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club. He was a strong supporter of rebuilding the Trap Range but lost his battle with pancreatic cancer before the project was completed.

The event will consist of 12 Bird Rounds at six stations, with two birds per station at 22 yards, as well as Buddy Shoots. Winners will receive a four-pound package of bacon. There will also be rounds of 50/50 Cut-Throat.

This year’s event will also include seven basket raffles, with basket values ranging from $100 to $250.

The Long Range 100-Yard Cover will be open Monday, 9/7/26, and Tuesday, 9/8/26, from 10:00 a.m. until sunset. Our contractor will resume work on Wednesday, 9/9/26.

The Down Range Safety Alert System has been reinstalled. Please begin using it again.

As with any construction project, the schedule may change as work progresses. We will make every effort to provide the most up-to-date information here, so please check here before traveling to the range.

The Long Range 100-Yard Cover will be closed today, Sunday, 9/6/26, until 5:00 p.m. Our contractor will be working today until 5:00 p.m.

The Archery Range and Trap Range will not be affected by the project and will remain open during their normal operating hours.

The Long Range 100-Yard Cover will be closed today, Saturday, 8/29/26, and tomorrow, Sunday, 8/30/26, until 5:00 p.m. on both days. Our contractor will be working both days until 5:00 p.m.

Starting Monday, 8/31/26, the Long Range 100-Yard Cover will be open Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. until closing. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will be open from 10:00 a.m. until prevailing sunset.

The Archery Range and Trap Range will not be affected by the project and will remain open during their normal operating hours.

The Down Range Safety Alert System has been disconnected. Please continue to use the Cone System until it is reinstalled.
