Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club

The 19th Annual Marty Cirelli, Sr. Memorial Bacon Trap Shoot was held on September 13, 2026, at the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, 18 Middle Lane, Harveys Lake, PA 18618. The early morning rain showers ended around 9:00 a.m., and the shoot began at 10:00 a.m.

During the event, ten squads shot 12 Bird Rounds, and two squads participated in the Buddy Shoot. Winners received a four-pound package of bacon. There was also one round of 50/50 Cut-Throat.

This year’s event also included seven basket raffles, with basket values ranging from $100 to $250. Tickets were drawn during the event, and winners received their baskets.

The Club will be donating $2,200 to the Kingston Medical Oncology Prescription Fund. This fund assists cancer patients in obtaining costly prescription medications.

It’s done! The Pistol and Short-Range project has been completed. The range will reopen for all activities starting Thursday, 9/17/26.

Thank you to all our members for your patience and understanding during the replacement of the Pistol and Short-Range covers. The old covers were estimated to be more than 50 years old and were beyond repair.

A few finishing touches will be completed in the spring, including new wooden shooting benches. If you have a design you prefer, please let us know! We will also be adding more seating benches and gun racks.

The success of fundraisers like the Sportsmans Raffle makes projects like these possible. Once again, thank you to all the members who support our Club fundraisers.

The 19th Annual Marty Cirelli, Sr. Memorial Bacon Trap Shoot will be held on September 13, 2026, at the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, 18 Middle Lane, Harveys Lake, PA 18618. This is a rain-or-shine event, with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the shoot beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the shoot will benefit the Kingston Medical Oncology Prescription Fund. This fund assists cancer patients in obtaining costly prescription medications.

This event was established in 2007 by Carmen Fusco, a club member, to honor the memory of one of his best friends, Marty Cirelli, Sr. Marty was a longtime member, director, and treasurer of the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club. He was a strong supporter of rebuilding the Trap Range but lost his battle with pancreatic cancer before the project was completed.

The event will consist of 12 Bird Rounds at six stations, with two birds per station at 22 yards, as well as Buddy Shoots. Winners will receive a four-pound package of bacon. There will also be rounds of 50/50 Cut-Throat.

This is a rain-or-shine event and is open to the public. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., and the shoot begins at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Kingston Medical Oncology Prescription Fund. Food will be available for purchase.

A few changes this year include upgrading the prize from a one-pound package of bacon to a four-pound package of bacon. In addition, we are adding basket raffles with a retail value of up to $250.

The Archery Range and Trap Range will not be affected by the project and will remain open during their normal operating hours.

The Down Range Safety Alert System has been disconnected. Please continue to use the Cone System until it is reinstalled.
