Members Meeting Monday 1-27-25 starting at 7 pm.

If you entered the Buck Pool & harvested a Buck the deadline to submit a picture of You & your Buck is 1-26-25. Send your picture to clubinfo@hlragc.org

The buck pool is lottery style. Three winners will be selected at random on or before 2-1-25.  We had 40 Members sign up for the Buck Pool. As of 1-21-25, the following 10 Members successfully bagged a buck & submitted their picture.

Pay in person at the Members Meeting on 1-27-25 or send payment via USPS postmarked no later than 1-31-25.

Annual Dues payment and Life Member Check-in for 2025 are being accepted now until the last day of January 2025. Regular Members send your dues payment of $100.00 or Senior Members send your dues payment $30.00 along with a SASE for ID Card return or Life Members send check-in information including your Club ID #, current address, & phone number to Harveys Lake Rod and Gun Club, P.O. Box 1707, Shavertown, PA 18708. Life members may also check-in by sending an email to clubinfo@hlragc.org and you will receive a return email acknowledging your check-in. If you do not receive an email confirmation, either re-send your check-in email or call the Club Secretary Denise at 570-283-5428. If you are paying dues at a meeting bring a SASE to receive your updated ID Card in the mail or your ID card will be ready for pickup at the next scheduled meeting.

Reminder this month’s Members Meeting is a week early.  Monday 12-16-24 starting at 7 pm.

Stuff Going On

The business portion of the Meeting will very, very short because the Kitchen will be offering our annual Members holiday meal Blessing’s Bountiful Buffet which is made up of too many items to list. Let’s just say don’t eat before coming to the Meeting!

Applications for Club Officers & Directors due December 1st. Any Member in good standing can apply to become an Officer/Director. Elections are held each year at the January Directors Meeting. Applications are accepted from September 1st to December 1st each year. All Applicants are invited to attend the Directors Meeting in January & speak on their own behave as to why they want to be a Officer/Director & how they can help move the Club forward. The Club consists of 5 Officers: Chair of the Board, President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer. Officers serve one year terms January through December each year. The Club consists of 15 Directors. Directors serve five-year terms with their term expiring in December of their fifth year.

Applications can be found on our website hlragc.org under the Member Information Tab or picked up at any Members Meeting. Applications are due by December 1st and can be submitted in person to the Secretary, mailed to Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 1707, Shavertown, PA 18708 or emailed to clubinfo@hlragc.org.
