Trap Range Closed
The Trap Range is temporally closed. We are experiencing mechanical issues with the trap and as soon as they are resolved the trap range will be reopened. Check back here for timely updates.
Elections
We are now accepting applications for Club Officers & Directors. Any Member in good standing can apply to become an Officer/Director. Elections are held each year at the January Directors Meeting. Applications are accepted from September 1st to December 1st each year. All Applicants are invited to attend the Directors Meeting in January & speak on their own behave as to why they want to be a Officer/Director & how they can help move the Club forward. The Club consists of 5 Officers: Chair of the Board, President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer. Officers serve one year terms January through December each year. The Club consists of 15 Directors. Directors serve five-year terms with their term expiring in December of their fifth year.
Applications can be found on our website hlragc.org under the Member Information Tab or picked up at any Members Meeting. Applications are due by December 1st and can be submitted in person to the Secretary, mailed to Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 1707, Shavertown, PA 18708 or emailed to clubinfo@hlragc.org.

Members Workday 9-14-24
Saturday September 14, 2024, starting at 9:00 am is our fourth and final Workday of the year. In the event of bad weather, you can call the Clubhouse at 570-639-1220 starting at 8:00 am to check whether the Workday is postponed or still on schedule. Members assigned a Workday must either attend the assigned Workday, send a Member to take their place, pay a $75.00 assessment by the conclusion of the monthly meeting immediately following the Workday or face termination of their membership. Unfortunately, guest are not permitted to participate in Workday sessions. The range will be closed until the Workday is completed. Some of the projects we will be working on include repairing backers, trimming weeds, raking wads on trap range, painting, etc. Please wear appropriate clothing for participating in these activities. Also, if anyone wishes to bring their weed trimmer it would be appreciated.
Range Open
The driveway work has been completed ahead of schedule and the Range is now open. A french drain was installed in gate area to carry water away from the driveway, the base was replaced in the stretch that develops potholes and the entire driveway was recrowned.
