We are now accepting applications for Club Officers & Directors. Any Member in good standing can apply to become an Officer/Director. Elections are held each year at the January Directors Meeting. Applications are accepted from September 1st to December 1st each year. All Applicants are invited to attend the Directors Meeting in January & speak on their own behave as to why they want to be a Officer/Director & how they can help move the Club forward. The Club consists of 5 Officers: Chair of the Board, President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer. Officers serve one year terms January through December each year. The Club consists of 15 Directors. Directors serve five-year terms with their term expiring in December of their fifth year.
Applications can be found on our website hlragc.org under the Member Information Tab or picked up at any Members Meeting. Applications are due by December 1st and can be submitted in person to the Secretary, mailed to Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 1707, Shavertown, PA 18708 or emailed to clubinfo@hlragc.org.

Attention all Members. Trap Shoot volunteers needed to plan & work Trap Shoots. We will be conducting a Trap Shoot Committee Meeting on 8-31-23 starting at 6 pm at the Club House. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the details of the annual Marty Cirelli Memorial Shoot & future Trap Shoots. If you have ideas or can help in any way, please attend. If you cannot attend for any reason email Ryan or Joe at clubinfo@hlragc.org with your contact info & they will contact, you.

The buck pool is lottery style and there will be three winners.
How to enter. You sign up at any Club Meeting or Workday.
The cost to enter is $5.
Deadline to enter 9-25-23.
How to get a chance to win. You shoot a legal Buck in PA. during any of the 2023/24 PA Big Game Seasons (Archery, Muzzleloader, Regular Firearms, Flintlock). You take a picture of You & Your Tagged Buck. You email the picture to the Club (clubinfo@hlragc.org) or you hand the picture in at a Club Meeting. Please include your name, Member ID Number & a phone number with your picture. One entry per person. Deadline for submission is 1-26-24.
How to win. All pictures received by or on 1-26-24 will be placed in a bucket & three pictures will be drawn at random on or before 2-1-24.
Prizes. All $5 entry fees plus the Clubs contribution of $150 will be added together to make up the Jackpot.
The first picture pulled at random will receive 50% of the Jackpot.
The second picture pulled at random will receive 30% of the Jackpot.
The third picture pulled at random will receive 20% of the Jackpot.
Example 20 $5 entries + $150 Clubs contribution = $250 Jackpot.
First picture $125, Second picture $75, Third picture $50.
