The Buck Pool is now open to enter.
The buck pool is lottery style and there will be three winners.
How to enter. Sign up at any Club Meeting or Workday.
The cost to enter is $5.
Deadline to enter 9-29-25.
How to get a chance to win. Shoot a legal Buck in PA. during any of the 2025 PA Big Game Seasons (Archery, Muzzleloader, Regular Firearms, Flintlock). Take a picture of You & Your Buck. Email the picture to the Club (clubinfo@hlragc.org) or hand the picture in at a Club Meeting. Include your name, Member ID Number & a phone number with your picture. One entry per person. Deadline for submission is 1-25-26. Failure to follow this procedure may result in disqualification of drawing.
How to win. All pictures received by or on 1-25-26 will be placed in a bucket & three pictures will be drawn at random on or before 2-1-26.
Prizes. All $5 entry fees plus the Clubs contribution of $150 will be added together to make up a Jackpot.
The first picture pulled at random will receive 50% of the Jackpot.
The second picture pulled at random will receive 30% of the Jackpot.
The third picture pulled at random will receive 20% of the Jackpot.
Example. Last year 40 Members participated @ $5 each + $150 Clubs contribution = $350 Jackpot. First picture $175, Second picture $105, Third picture $70.
Members Workday 5-3-25
This Saturday May 3, 2025, starting at 9:00 am is our first Workday of the year. In the event of bad weather, you can call the Clubhouse at 570-639-1220 starting at 8:00 am to check whether the Workday is postponed or still on schedule. Members assigned a Workday must either attend the assigned Workday, send a Member to take their place, pay a $75.00 assessment by the conclusion of the monthly meeting immediately following the Workday or face termination of their membership. Unfortunately, guest are not permitted to participate in Workday sessions. The range will be closed until the Workday is completed. Some of the projects we will be working on include repairing backers, trimming brush, raking wads on trap range, spraying weed killer, updating Archery Range, relocating the burner, etc.…
